The Malaysian Liver Foundation (MLF) is a charitable organisation and is not to be conducted for profit or gain and no part of its net earnings shall inure to the benefit of any individual, firm or corporation. |

The objective of the MLF is to work towards improved care and treatment of liver diseases; to co-ordinate and conduct basic and clinical research in hepatobiliary diseases and to help patients cope with diseases of the liver, gallbladder and pancreas. |

Membership of the MLF is open to any Malaysian above the age of 18 years and for Corporations registered under the Malaysian law. |
|
The Executive Committee of the MLF has the right to reject any membership application. |
|
Subscription fees shall be payable in advance in January of each year. |
|
Members who fail to settle their arrears within six months from the due date may have their membership cancelled or suspended until accounts are settled. |

Members are entitled to vote at the Annual General Meeting and Extraordinary General Meetings after being a member of MLF for at least one year. Corporate Members are entitled to send a representative each to the general meeting. Such representative shall be duly accredited in writing by the Corporate Member and shall have one vote. |

All cheques/money orders are to be made payable to the Malaysian Liver Foundation or Yayasan Hepar Malaysia. |
