Mission Statement

The Molecular Research Laboratory (MRL) of the Malaysian Liver Foundation is dedicated to molecular diagnostics and research for accuracy in diagnosis and assessment of effectiveness of treatment and prevention of diseases of the liver, gallbladder and pancreas by providing reliable, reproducible and timely services.

Quality Statement

The Molecular Research Laboratory (MRL) is accredited under the accreditation scheme of the National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. All tests at MRL have been performed in accordance with NATA requirements which include the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 and are traceable to national standards of measurement.

The MRL Quality Assurance Programme is implemented to create a dynamic system of procedures and protocols that assure the quality of laboratory services rendered.
