Formed in 1996, the MLF is the only national voluntary, non-profit, charitable organisation in Malaysia dedicated to the prevention, treatment and cure of liver biliary, gallbladder and pancreatic diseases through education, training and research.
The MLF strives to educate the public and create greater awareness regarding liver diseases, also providing information on the prevention and management of viral hepatitis and liver ailments. The organisation aims to facilitate the training of doctors in the field, and conducts research and developmental activities.
The MLF works closely with government and non-government organisations to improve and develop services for patients, and also provides advisory services to policy makers in developing and implementing healthcare measures related to liver diseases.
The Malaysian Liver Foundation (MLF) is proud to present its Charity Gala Dinner, to be held during the Liver Update. This prime event is MLF’s fundraising effort to support its various programmes, including its educational activities and free vaccination programme. Liver Update delegates and members of the public alike can look forward to an enjoyable evening of excellent food and entertainment.
